Wage and hour laws were created in accordance with federal and state laws and are designed to take care of our employees. These policies apply to everyone within the organization and give management the opportunity to address issues immediately, which helps create an atmosphere of fairness for everyone.
There should never be an instance when an employee feels pressured to alter, falsify, or manipulate payroll records. These records should be an honest recording of hours worked. For this to happen, management awareness is required. Knowledge of how employees are recording their time – whether it’s on the time clock, time card, or the Exception Log.
