Speak on the Spot Persuasively - Part 3

You'll learn to use the Speak on the Spot Roadmap when you need to quickly jump into an active discussion. The best way to use this roadmap is to jot down a few quick notes to organize your thoughts before speaking up. You don’t have to write down all four steps – just your point of view and two or three additional notes to use as evidence statements.

State your point of view as one concise, persuasive statement. Support that statement with two or three examples of evidence. And finish by repeating your concise point of view as close to word-for-word as possible. It’s a simple roadmap, and with practice it becomes a skill you use over and over again.
