It’s sometimes difficult not to become involved in gossip and rumor sharing at work. After all, people tend to like gossip and interesting bits of information. At work, however, this type of interaction is both harmful and costly! By the end of this course, you will be able to understand the meaning of diversity and more importantly, inclusion - and the impact of gossip, assumptions, rumors and innuendo in the workplace. An inclusive workplace is one that discourages gossip and malicious rumors. The fact that the conversation took place in the workplace means that those impacted by it have a right and a responsibility to respond.
